Large Deep Red Bowls by Grace McCarthy

Based in East London and specialising in reduction-fired pieces, a lot of what influences Grace’s work is the raw clay and the firing process; her excitement over ceramics comes from the relationship between both of these elements and the ever-changing outcomes.

These large serving bowls are perfect for so many dishes including large salads and anything saucy from curry to casseroles or for serving sharing dishes, but we think they are best suited to a comforting bowl of Ramen. Made from a red clay they are satisfyingly heavyweight with a rough unglazed outer and a thin grey glaze inside.
