Toasted Pastry Plate by Rebecca Morris

Based in Manchester, TV producer turned potter, Rebecca Morris creates functional tableware and ceramics, often gracing the table of some of celebrating restaurants around Manchester and always with a refined and considered finish.

Made from a light clay which has been left unglazed on the outside and finished with a pearl white glaze inside to allow the natural speckle of the minerals in the clay to come through. The edge has been lightly toasted to a richer brown in the kiln. We use these plates in our London Fields bakery to serve pastries but they’re ideally sized for toast, lunch & cakes!
