Sculptural Citrus Bowl by Grace McCarthy

Based in East London and specialising in reduction-fired pieces, a lot of what influences Grace’s work is the raw clay and the firing process; her excitement over ceramics comes from the relationship between both of these elements and the ever-changing outcomes.

Made from a black vulcan clay, this deep, shallow dish has been designed by Grace to hold citrus or fruit as a talking piece for your counter top. Made from unglazed, vitrified clay this is food safe so could also be used to serve dishes at the table.
