Gas-Fired Desert Bowl by Ben Sutton

£36.00

Based in North-East London, ceramicist Ben Sutton is heavily inspired by Japanese pottery. This is reflected in his refined and delicate forms where the mix of clay and careful consideration put into each glaze creates pieces which are a joy to use and admire.

These delicate small bowls have been covered in a Celadon glaze which has then been gas-fired to bring out the intense natural speckling in the clay. The glaze itself varies from a sage green to rich brown depending on where it sat in the kiln making each one completely unique. The ideal size for desert or nibbles.
