Verum Ceramics create wonderfully sculptural pieces which serve as both functional ceramics and works of art. Hand-thrown in the West Yorkshire Countryside, each piece draws on functional, minimalist forms, and embraces the primitive imperfections which occur during the firing process.
Made from a white clay blend which has been sourced in the UK, the matt glaze features rust-red marks across the surface which is created by a reaction with the iron content in the clay, leaving a distinct finish which varies from piece to piece. Great for serving pasta or risotto these dishes feature a deep indent and wide rim. The larger size would also allow them to work well as serving dishes.
