Ceramic Tile Painting Workshop With Claire Sherston | Sunday 7th June

An artist specialising in painting and ceramics, Claire Sherston will help you create your very own ceramic tile.

Ease into the new season with a calming ceramic painting workshop. In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of painting with ceramic underglazes, exploring techniques for mixing and layering colours to create your own unique tile design. Once completed, Claire will fire your tiles in her kiln, and they will be ready for collection at our Hackney shop approximately three weeks later.

Bring your own ideas or find inspiration on the day as you enjoy two hours of inspiring creative flow. Your finished tile can serve as décor, a jewellery tray, or a beautiful trivet for hot dishes.

Please note: kiln firing ceramics can be unpredictable, and there is a slight chance that pieces may incur minor damage during the process. These unique imperfections are a natural reflection of the beautiful yet delicate nature of working with ceramics.

The morning and afternoon sessions have 12 spaces available on Sunday 7th June 11 - 1pm at our Pophams Home workshop space next to Pophams Bakery, 197 Richmond Road, E8 3NJ
