This stunning vase is thrown on the wheel using a dark stoneware clay body, blended with a local red earthenware clay dug in Hartshill. The glaze is made using only locally sourced wood-ash, recycled glass and a sandy earthenware clay dug by hand in Stoke-on-Trent. They are the perfect tabletop decorative piece with or without flowers.
