White Wide Rim Dessert Bowl by James Galbraith Kirkpatrick

Kent-based ceramicist, James Galbraith Kirkpatrick, creates wheel-thrown functional pieces and objects that balance artistry and utility. A Fine Art graduate from Central Saint Martins and with a background in professional cooking, James’ work is featured in some of the top restaurants across the South East. His approach draws from both his artistic training and time in the kitchen, creating bespoke ceramics that elevate the everyday experience.
Crafted from a lightweight stoneware each of these wide rim bowls is finished in a satin white glaze. The glaze has been delicately applied to allow some of the natural stoneware are texture to show through every so slightly on the edges adding texture when holding and using the bowl. A classic shape dish which would be ideally suited to starters, desserts, or nibbles.
Larger 'risotto' style also available.
