Japanese ceramicist and architect Sayaka Namba is based in London and originally from the coastal town of Miyazaki. Since 2006, she’s been exploring clay alongside her work in architecture. Her pieces reflect Japanese minimalism, natural textures, and a deep interest in how objects create calm, intimate connections within everyday spaces.
These wonderfully rounded cortado cups sit comfortably in your hand and are made from a light clay with a tactile matt glaze. Around the base Sayaka has hand carved a line design for added texture and design.
