    Ash Glaze Inlaid Beaker by Ingot

    A small beaker made from rugged stoneware clay which has been foraged from the local landscape. Glazed using ash collected from nature reserves after scrub clearance, the ash glaze creates a beautifully soft olive green finish. Each beaker has been finished with a thin line around the rim which has been filled in with porcelain creating a wonderful contrast between the rustic and refined.

    Dishwasher safe although we recommend hand washing to keep each piece in best condition.

    About the Maker

    Under the name of Ingot Objects, Glasgow-based Jonathan creates a range of wheel-thrown and hand-built objects which have as low an impact on the environment as possible. Utilising local materials - such as foraged wild clay and wood ash - to create textures and glazes which celebrate the impurities and imperfections of the natural materials themselves. Designed to be both functional and characterful, his designs heavily feature tableware such as plates bowls and cups elevated to enhance the ritual of everyday drinking and dining. 

    Delivery & Returns

    Collection: Our greenest option - choose to collect your order from one of our locations. We will aim to have orders ready within 24 hours on week days and 48 hours on weekends. You will receive a confirmation email when this is ready to pick up from your chosen store.Please note- if you choose collection from our stockroom this is only open 10-4 Monday to Friday.

    UK Delivery: Standard Delivery (2-4 working days): £5.95

    Large Order Delivery - Over 5kg (2-4 working days): £15
