Based in East London and specialising in reduction-fired pieces, a lot of what influences Grace’s work is the raw clay and the firing process; her excitement over ceramics comes from the relationship between both of these elements and the ever-changing outcomes.
This large shallow dish works well as an everyday dinner plate for serving pasta and other sauce-based dishes, or as a sharing plate. Made from a black clay which has been left unglazed for a rough, organic finish, with a sheer white glaze on the inside.
